Rubbish Removal Hounslow Service Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of rubbish removal and waste collection services by Rubbish Removal Hounslow to domestic and commercial customers in the United Kingdom. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing a booking.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions have the meanings set out below:
1.1 Service means any rubbish removal, waste collection, clearance, loading, transportation and related services provided by Rubbish Removal Hounslow.
1.2 Customer means the individual, business, landlord, tenant, agent or organisation that books or receives the Service.
1.3 Waste means any household, commercial, garden, construction, bulky or other non-hazardous waste materials to be collected as part of the Service.
1.4 Hazardous Waste means waste classified as hazardous or requiring special handling or licensing under applicable UK law and regulations, including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, solvents, clinical or medical waste, gas bottles, and certain electrical items.
1.5 Booking means any request or order placed by the Customer for the Service, whether made by telephone, email, online form, or in person, and as confirmed by us.
1.6 Site means the address or location where the Service is to be carried out.
2. Scope of Service
2.1 Rubbish Removal Hounslow provides rubbish removal and waste collection services, including loading, removal and transportation of Waste from the Site to authorised disposal, transfer or recycling facilities.
2.2 The specific scope of the Service, including the type and approximate volume of Waste to be removed, will be agreed at the time of Booking or as updated during an on-site assessment.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse to remove any items which, in our reasonable opinion, are unsafe to handle, constitute Hazardous Waste for which we are not licensed, or may cause damage or risk to our staff, vehicles or third parties.
3. Booking Process
3.1 Bookings may be made by telephone, email or through our website contact form. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the type, quantity and location of the Waste, as well as access and parking arrangements at the Site.
3.2 When a Booking is made, we may provide an indicative quote based on the information supplied. This quote may be subject to change following an on-site assessment of the Waste and access conditions.
3.3 A Booking will be considered confirmed once we have agreed a date and time window for the Service and, where applicable, once any required deposit or card pre-authorisation has been received.
3.4 The Customer must ensure that an authorised person is present at the Site at the agreed time to grant access, confirm the Waste to be removed, and approve any changes to the scope of the Service or price.
3.5 We may, at our discretion, accept instructions from a third party such as a managing agent, tenant, landlord or contractor, provided that it is clear who will be responsible for payment of the Service.
4. Access and Parking
4.1 The Customer must ensure that there is safe and reasonable access for our team and vehicles to carry out the Service. This includes clear access routes, suitable parking or loading space, and the absence of health and safety hazards.
4.2 Any parking or access charges, including permits, meter fees or congestion and clean air zone charges, remain the responsibility of the Customer and may be added to the final invoice if incurred by us while providing the Service.
4.3 If we are unable to carry out the Service or experience significant delays due to lack of access, incorrect information, or unsafe conditions at the Site, we may charge a wasted journey or waiting time fee.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Our charges are usually based on one or more of the following factors: the volume and weight of Waste removed, the type of materials collected, the labour time required, and any additional services or charges (such as parking fees or extra labour for difficult access).
5.2 Any prices or quotes provided prior to arrival at the Site are indicative only and subject to verification following an on-site assessment. The final price will be confirmed with the Customer before Work commences or continues.
5.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full upon completion of the Service. We accept most major debit and credit cards, and may also accept bank transfers or cash payments at our discretion.
5.4 For commercial Customers or repeat clients, we may, at our discretion, offer account terms, in which case payment shall be due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest and administration charges in accordance with applicable UK law.
5.5 The Customer remains liable for the full payment of all charges for the Service, even if the booking is made by a third party acting on the Customer's behalf.
6. Deposits and Pre-Authorisations
6.1 We may require a deposit or card pre-authorisation to secure certain Bookings, particularly for larger clearances, longer travel distances, or where Site access or parking may be challenging.
6.2 Any deposit or pre-authorisation amount, and the conditions under which it is refundable or chargeable, will be confirmed at the time of Booking.
6.3 If the Customer cancels in accordance with our cancellation policy, any refundable deposit will be returned within a reasonable time, subject to any permitted deductions.
7. Cancellations and Amendments
7.1 The Customer may cancel or amend a Booking by contacting us during our normal business hours.
7.2 If the Customer cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, any deposit paid may be refunded in full, subject to any non-recoverable costs already incurred by us.
7.3 If the Customer cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, or if we are unable to carry out the Service due to the Customer's failure to provide access or accurate information, we reserve the right to retain all or part of any deposit and to charge a cancellation or wasted journey fee.
7.4 If the Customer wishes to amend the Booking, including changes to the date, time, or scope of Waste to be removed, we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee availability. Changes may affect the price.
7.5 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, road closures or safety concerns. In such cases, we will notify the Customer as soon as practicable and offer an alternative appointment.
8. Customer Responsibilities
8.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that:
a) All Waste to be collected is clearly identified and, where possible, consolidated into an accessible area.
b) Items not intended for removal are clearly separated or labelled.
c) There is safe access to the Waste, including clear hallways, staircases and outdoor areas.
8.2 The Customer must inform us in advance of any items that may be fragile, contain sharp objects, or present a particular handling risk.
8.3 The Customer must not include Hazardous Waste or prohibited items within the Waste to be collected unless we have expressly agreed in writing and are appropriately licensed to remove such items.
9. Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance
9.1 Rubbish Removal Hounslow operates in accordance with applicable UK waste management legislation and regulations. We aim to maximise reuse and recycling wherever reasonably practicable while ensuring legal and responsible disposal.
9.2 We hold, or will use subcontractors who hold, the necessary waste carrier registration and will transport Waste only to authorised waste transfer, recycling or disposal facilities.
9.3 Once the Waste has been collected and loaded into our vehicle, title to and responsibility for the Waste transfers to us. The Customer remains responsible if they have misdescribed the Waste, concealed Hazardous Waste, or otherwise caused a breach of waste regulations.
9.4 We will not accept or transport Hazardous Waste, controlled substances, live animals, explosives or any materials that we are not lawfully permitted or insured to handle.
10. Liability and Limitations
10.1 We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Service. However, the Customer acknowledges that the nature of rubbish removal and waste collection may involve handling bulky or awkward items in confined spaces, with a risk of minor scuffs or marks to surrounding areas.
10.2 The Customer must take reasonable steps to protect floors, walls, fixtures, and other vulnerable surfaces if they are concerned about potential damage during the removal process.
10.3 We will not be liable for:
a) Normal wear and tear or minor cosmetic damage arising from the proper performance of the Service.
b) Pre-existing damage or defects at the Site.
c) Loss of or damage to items that the Customer did not clearly identify as items not to be removed.
10.4 Our total liability to the Customer for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the total price paid or payable for the specific Booking in question, except where limitation of liability is not permitted by law.
10.5 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude or restrict liability under UK law.
11. Insurance
11.1 We maintain appropriate public liability insurance to cover the risks associated with our rubbish removal and waste collection services, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of our policy.
11.2 Details of our insurance cover can be provided upon request.
12. Complaints and Disputes
12.1 If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the Service, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible, providing full details of your concerns and any supporting information.
12.2 We will investigate complaints promptly and in good faith, and seek to resolve any issues through discussion with the Customer.
12.3 If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may consider using alternative dispute resolution processes. This does not restrict either party's right to commence legal proceedings.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
13.1 We will collect and process personal information from Customers only as necessary to manage Bookings, provide the Service, handle payments, and meet our legal obligations.
13.2 We will handle personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law. We will not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share information with trusted partners or service providers where required to deliver the Service or comply with the law.
14. Intellectual Property
14.1 All content, branding, and materials used in connection with Rubbish Removal Hounslow, including logos, text and images, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
14.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions grants the Customer any right to use our trademarks or other intellectual property without our prior written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

15.2 The version of the Terms and Conditions that applies to your Booking will be the version in force at the time your Booking was confirmed.
16. Severability
16.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision shall be treated as deleted, but the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
17.1 These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
17.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or their subject matter.
